HUGE HAIRY SPIDERS
Ingredients- 2 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 40 red baking candies
Directions.....
1.Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Lightly grease baking sheet.
2.In a saucepan melt chocolate over low heat. Let cool.
3.In a small bowl mix flour, baking powder and salt.
4.In a medium bowl beat margarine on low speed until smooth. Add sugar and beat until creamy.
Stir in egg, vanilla and chocolate. Add flour mixture and mix well, forming a stiff dough.
5.To make spider, shape a 2 inch flat oval for the body. Make the spider's head by flattening
a circle about 1/2 inch wide. Shape dough for legs each about 2 inches long and less than 1/4 inch wide.
6.Attach the head and legs to body. Put two red candies into head for eyes. Bake for 5-8 minutes.
Let spiders cool on baking sheet to avoid breaking when moving. Makes 20 cookies.

KITTY LITTER CAKE
Ingredients- 1 18.5-ounce pkg. spice cake mix
- 1 18.5-ounce pkg. white cake mix
- 2 4-serving pkgs. instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1 12-ounce box vanilla wafer cookies, crushed
- 6 to 10 Tootsie Rolls
- Confectioner's sugar
- 1 brand new cat litter pan
- 1 brand new plastic pooper scooper
- green food coloring
Directions.....
Prepare the cakes and pudding according to package directions. Crumble the baked cake into the
kitty litter pan, then add the pudding and mix. Add a few drops of green food coloring to 1 cup
of the cookie crumbs and set aside; mix the rest into the pan. Soften the Tootsie Rolls by placing
in the microwave for 10 seconds on high and shape to resemble cat droppings. Arrange the Tootsie
Rolls on top of the cookie-pudding cake mixture, sprinkle all with green cookie crumbs, then with a
bit of confectioner's sugar. Decorate with plastic flies, if desired. Serve with pooper scooper.

CYCLOPS COOKIES
Ingredients- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar for decoration
- 48 milk chocolate candy kisses, unwrapped.
Directions.....
1. In a large mixer bowl beat the butter or margarine and peanut butter with an electric mixer on
medium speed for about 30 seconds. Add 1/2 cup of the white sugar and the brown sugar and beat until
fluffy. Add the egg, milk and vanilla and beat well.
2.In a medium mixing bowl stir together the flour baking powder, salt and baking soda. With the
mixer on low speed gradually add the flour mixture to the peanut butter mixture. Beat until well
combined. Cover and chill dough for 1 hour.
3.Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (205 degrees C).
4.Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Roll balls in additional sugar. Place about 2 inches apart on
ungreased cookie sheets.
5.Bake at 375 degrees F (205 degrees C) for 10 to 12 minutes or until the edges are firm. Immediately
press a chocolate kiss atop each cookie. Transfer cookies to a cooling rack and let cool.

BLACK CATS
Ingredients- 2 cups sugar
- 4 tbsp. cocoa
- 1 cup milk
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 2 cups quick oats
- box grape nuts cereal
- Devil's food (hehe) cake mix
- chocolate icing
- white icing
- new pooper scooper
Directions.....
Mix 2 cups sugar, 4tbsp. cocoa, half cup milk, 1 stick margarine in saucepan and bring to boil.
Cook about a minute. Add half cup peanut butter and 1 tsp. vanilla extract. Pour in 2 and a half
cups quick oats and stir. While stilll warm, roll spoonful sized balls in pan ("litterbox") of
grape nuts or crushed nuts. Buy litter scoop and lay beside pan so people can serve themselves.
Next, get a cake mix (devil's food or chocolate) and prepare as directed. Pour 5/6 into round
greased pan and the rest into 2 medium muffin tins. Bake. Remove from pan and cut cicle in half.
Line side to side and ice black. Stick muffin sized 2 in front on a long end for paws and ice.
With white icing, outline back legs and tail. Stick cat face cutout above paws. Lay the cat on a
pan beside the litter treats and there you have it.

THE FROZEN HAND
Freeze punch in rubber gloves that have been washed out. Thaw by running warm water over gloves
and add to punch bowl. Keeps punch cold while adding eerieness to the party.

BOOGERS ON A STICK
Add green food coloring to processed cheese spread. Dip a small pretzel stick in and rotate until a
small lump of cheese forms. Make them as big as you like!

POACHED SKULL AND CROSSBONES
Ingredients- 4 Bananas
- 1 can Pear halves drained
- 1 small box Raisins
- Strawberry or raspberry fruit or "all fruit" preserves
Directions.....
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Cut bananas in half lengthwise and place 2 halves, or bones,
crisscrossed in X shapes in a baking dish or on a cookie sheet. Place your pear-half skulls on
top of the banana X's, curved side up. With a blunt knife, make 2 small slits in the pears for
the eyes. Insert a raisin in each slit. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and
carefully transfer to individual serving plates. Drip some fruit sauce blood around your creepy
crossbones.

CATERPILLAR SANDWICH
Ingredients- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons parsley
- 2 teaspoons dry mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 loaf Italian bread
- your choice of deli meats and cheeses
Directions.....
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a small bowl combine mayonnaise, parsley, dry mustard, and onion
powder. Stir well and set aside. cut 1 loaf Italian bread into 10 slices without cutting all the
way through the loaf. Spread mayonnaise mixture between every other slice. Fold luncheon meat in
half and tuck a slice of cheese in between. Insert folded meat and cheese into every other slot
that has the mayonnaise mixture in it. Wrap the loaf in foil and bake for 25 minutes. Use thin sliced
celery stalks for antenna. Use olive slices with pimento in center on toothpicks for caterpillar eyes.
To serve, cut the loaf in slices at the cuts you didn't fill.

DIRTY DIAPERS
Ingredients- Large marshmallows and carmels
Directions.....
Take the very large marshmallows. Cut the corners off the bottom to make them look like diapers. Cut
an opening in the top of the diaper. Use a decorating bag with a small tip, or use a sandwich bag with
the corner snipped, to fill the diaper with melted caramels or caramel sauce. You can serve lemonade
with them to have a *matched set*. You can say they are Monster Pee-Pee and Dracula's Dirty Diapers.

CAT POOP COOKIES
Ingredients- 1/2 C. honey
- 2 C. flour
- 2/3 C. margarine
- 1/3 C. cocoa (may want to use 1/2 c.)
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- Grapenuts Cereal
Directions.....
Microwave honey on high until bubbly (about 1 min.) Add margarine. Mix. Add egg and mix well.
Mix all other ingredients., except cereal. Chill 1 hour in freezer or several hours in fridge.
Roll dough into asst. shapes of cat poop. Roll in cereal. Bake at 350 for 10-15 min. Serve in
new litter box on a bed of grape nuts. Use a new litter scoop to remove.
